Description

The Project “Supporting employability and social inclusion in Vietnam’s vocational training colleges” aims to enhance the employability and social inclusion of graduates from invested institutions. After the project completion, it is expected that every year 90% of the graduates in the upgraded occupation, will find a job related to the qualification within 9 months from graduation. In addition, it aims to upgrade the selected institutions with consistent and modern vocational training tools for key sectors of production, in order to provide market and enterprise-oriented training. About 52 teachers will acquire a “qualification” in the specialization attesting that they can operate and make full use of upgraded workshops and laboratories. About 68 teachers and management staffs will be able to conduct counselling to students in the area of job placement and career guidance. The Project total fund include a soft loan of 3,5 million EUR, an ODA grant of 300,000 EUR for technical assistance, and the counterpart fund of 1,160,000. The project will be implanted by the Directorate of Vocational Education which belongs to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. read more close
