The aim of the initiative is supporting the improvement of The “International Health Regulations System” adopted by the Health Assembly in 1969 whose aim is “to prevent, protect against, control and provide a public health response to the international spread of disease of public health risks, and which avoid unnecessary interference with international traffic and trade.” The Objective of the program is strengthening the core capacities for preventing, early detecting, and responding to the potential risks that have the potential to cross borders to protect the public health security as required by IHR/2005 read more close
