Description
Following the extension of the geographical coverage of AICS Field Office in Maputo (Mozambique) to Zambia and Malawi, as per Deliberation n. 65/2024 of the Joint Committee of the Italian Coooperation, this initiative establishes a Fund for guaranteeing adequate technical assistance to AICS operations in Zambia and Malawi. Both Zambia and Malawi are identified as Priority Countries by the 3-year Planning Document of the Italian Cooperation for years 2024-2026. Approved by AICS Director by Deliberation n. 45/2024, this 3-year initiative meets the need to open an AICS office in Lusaka, reporting to AICS Maputo, and to recruit qualified staff for the design and management of Italian Cooperation interventions.
