Description

The initiative aims to contribute to the alignment of the Albanian national and sectoral strategies to the EU policies through institutional capacity development in the priority pillars of the Italian Development Cooperation in Albania. The facility also intends to provide Technical Assistance to the Albanian authorities for the implementation of the current portfolio of initiatives and the identification/design of the actions foreseen in the Albanian-Italian Protocol of Cooperation 2014-2016, signed in Tirana on December, 11th 2014. The Protocol ensures financial resources for an overall amount of 81,7 million Euro, with the objective to support 3 pillars of the Albanian National Strategy for Development and Integration 2015-2020: i) Sustainable Growth through improved competitiveness and efficient use of resources; ii) Investing in People and Social Cohesion; iii) Good Governance, Democracy and Rule of Law.
