Description

Contribution to UNICEF’s “Integrated Child Protection and Education Services in Learning Centres in the Gaza Strip” initiative. The initiative aims to address the needs of the Gazan population by promoting a quality learning environment, psychosocial support, health, nutrition, and integrated protection services, with particular attention to women and girls. The initiative will be implemented jointly with UNFPA, WFP and WHO. The activity focuses on integrating mental health and protection services with educational initiatives, ensuring comprehensive and appropriate support in response to continuously evolving needs. The initiative will be structured around five main lines of action: establishment of four learning centres; establishment of sexual and reproductive health education programmes; promotion of inclusive education settings for children with motor or sensory disabilities; strengthening inclusive education and health services through staff training in first aid, second-level assessments, and support for referral of children with disabilities, including the provision of assistive devices; provision of nutritional support for all students. read more close
