Description
The programme aims to improve the living conditions and future prospects of Syrian refugee and vulnerable Jordanian children, with particular attention to girls and groups at risk of exclusion such as children with disabilities, unaccompanied minors, children who are victims of violence, child labour or early marriage. Through an integrated approach, the initiative promotes access to inclusive and integrated child protection services, psychosocial support, economic assistance and educational inclusion, through a system of individual case management, safe referral and coordinated action. At the same time, it strengthens the protective capacities of families and communities, particularly female-headed households, caregivers and persons with disabilities, through economic assistance, vocational training, financial education and modules on positive parenting. The approach is gender- and disability-sensitive, culturally appropriate and oriented towards the Nexus between emergency and development, with the aim of preventing school dropout, violence and social exclusion.
