Description

The project aims to support durable solutions for Syrian refugees by facilitating sustainable, voluntary returns to Syria, while preserving protection space for those who remain in Lebanon. The objective will be achieved through an integrated approach that includes: a) Empowering refugees to make informed decisions regarding return; b) Facilitating voluntary, safe, dignified, and sustainable returns and c) Strengthening community engagement to support long-term reintegration. UNHCR will provide targeted cash assistance to returnees and support community-based protection initiatives. Acitivities will also enhance refugee resilience by improving access to reliable information, raising awareness of rights and available services, building skills, and promoting community self-management. These efforts, focusing on cross-cutting themes such as gender, inclusion, and localization, aim to reduce exposure to protection risks and contribute to sustainable reintegration outcomes.
