Description

The technical assistance initiative aims to ensure the management and oversight of the AID 013312/01/0 initiative "Completion of the construction of the new complex of the Odessa Oblast Pediatric Clinical Hospital" by the AICS Kiev office, as well as to provide support to the executing body in facilitating its implementation. The initiative will involve oversight and monitoring activities during the execution phase of the AID 13312 initiative, both regarding the proper conduct of tenders for the awarding of financed services, goods, and works, and regarding the physical and accounting progress of the works. Technical assistance will be implemented through the deployment of two sector experts in the areas covered by AID 13312, specifically in the management of aid credits and hospital engineering. The assistance will also support the Ukrainian side through the transfer of operational tools (SOPs, guidelines, protocols) designed to increase the efficiency and quality of administrative and management processes. The initiative is part of the country's reconstruction priorities, aiming to contribute to institutional resilience and strengthen the capacity of local governments with a view to promoting the decentralization process. read more close
