Description

Strengthen UNGC's efforts to empower and disseminate practices in the business community that are compatible with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs). In a spirit of collaboration between the UN and the business community, UNGC is based on ten principles that participating companies commit to respecting in their business activities. Their commitment to follow these principles is monitored, and any company that violates them will lose its membership in the UNGC. UNGC has also developed a specific strategy to promote the development of local networks in Africa and to incentivize investments in the continent. This strategy aims to foster the construction of effective business networks that can benefit from the support of UNGC initiatives for their responsible operation in favor of the continent's economic growth, an important strategic objective.
