Description

TRAME aims to improve the quality of life through the promotion of the sustainable tourism sector by contributing to the diversification of supply, enhancing heritage through innovative training paths and supporting new start-ups. The project was designed by Helpcode in collaboration with the initiative's partners: the Italian Association of Responsible Tourism (AITR), the social enterprise D.A.F.N.E, a company with expertise in training environmental nature guides, the professional training organization EnAIP, the craft promotion association member of UTICA, Jendouba 2050, The Municipality of Bergeggi, for the management of the protected area, and stakeholders Ministry of Tourism and Crafts, Municipality of Genoa, and the Municipality of Carloforte. TRAME goes to support different axes of the territory's tourism sector: promoting the enhancement of cultural and traditional heritage (handicrafts) through technical and on-the-job trainings, introducing new trades (nature guide and outdoor sports) in R1, in line with the purpose code 16066 Culture OECD DAC. In R2 TRAME supports business definition and creation of new start-ups in crafts, nature guide, outdoor sports and in land promotion, in line with purpose code 16020, Employement creation. In R3 TRAME, in line with purpose code 33210 Tourism OECD DAC, strengthens the skills of local authorities and officials in the area by conducting seminars, awareness-raising, and promoting Northwest Tunisia as a destination. read more close
