Description

The overall objective of this initiative is to contribute to improving youth employment in Senegal, including female employment. The specific objective is also to promote labour market policies that support productive activities, decent job creation and entrepreneurship. The expected results of this project are as follows: R1: improved governance of the employment sector. This outcome involves the revision of the sectoral regulatory framework through the elaboration and validation of the National Employment Policy (NEP) and an ad hoc guidance law for the promotion of employment, particularly for youth. R2: public employment policies are territorialised. This outcome involves the evaluation of the current devolved services of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Institutional Relations and the subsequent identification of a single efficient sectoral service at the territorial level. R3: the new National Agreement between State and Employers (CNEE 2.0) is implemented. Finally, this outcome aims to promote job creation for young people and women through the implementation of a pilot phase of the National Agreement between State and Employers (CNEE 2.0) also through its digitisation. read more close
