Description

Voluntary contribution to ILO, organization devoted to promoting social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights, pursuing its founding mission that social justice is essential to universal and lasting peace.The areas of work of the initiative are expanding access to and capabilities for productive and freely chosen employment and sustainable enterprise; strengthening just transitions and the social dimension of sustainable development, trade, and investment, social protection and building resilience; addressing inequality, discrimination and exclusion. It will also aid in realizing labour rights as human rights, ensuring human dignity and meeting basic needs; reinforcing institutions of social dialogue; labour migration; innovation and the development of technology partnerships.The contribution to the initiative is consistent with the implementation of the Agenda 2030, specifically SDG 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all) targets 4.3 and 4.4; and SDG 8 (Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all), targets 8.5, 8.6, 8.7. The contribution will contribute to SDG 3 (Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages); SDG 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls); SDG 9 (Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation) and SDG 10 (Reduce inequality within and among countries).
