Description
Corruption is one of the main challenges for Bosnia and Herzegovina to address in its international commitments, including the EU accession process, which is a priority for the country. The general objective of this project is to contribute to strengthening of the Rule of Law in BiH, in line with the international standards, especially in the judiciary system to address corruption and organized crime, while the specific objective is strengthening the capacity of Judiciary authorities and the coordination among them and law enforcement actors in BiH to effectively prevent and fight corruption and economic crime, in line with the EU acquis. The project is designed to strengthen the capacities of HJPC both from an administrative and organizational point of view, as well as in the field of training and inter-institutional coordination. It will be supported through targeted training to judges and prosecutors and a strengthening coordination mainly among the HJPC, the 2 Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centres, the Public Prosecutor's Offices and the low enforcement actors.
