Description

The initiative will contribute to the reduction of maternal and child malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies and mortality in the Tillabéri and Dosso regions through high impact nutrition interventions. This will be achieved by i) improving infant, child and maternal nutritional practices ii) ensuring access to quality care for children suffering from acute malnutrition iii) ensuring the quality of the intervention and the visibility of the Donor Direct beneficiaries of the initiative will be, annually, 730,000 children under five years of age; indirect beneficiaries will be, annually, 730,000 parental couples benefiting from ANJE counselling activities, 250 community workers trained in the promotion of ANJE activities, and 1,277 community workers trained in the prevention and care of child diseases and neonatal infections. read more close
