Description

The initiative intends to contribute to activity n.2 of Strategic Objective n.1 of the WFP Country Strategic Plan: Support for the treatment and prevention of acute malnutrition in children aged 6 to 59 monthsin Tigray, Amhara and Afar. The program aims to prevent and treat cases of malnutrition among infants and children between 6 and 59 months, focusing also on pregnant and lactating women group (PLWG) to promote a more effective comprehensive response. The project will contribute to support nutritional rehabilitation and prevent excess mortality attributable to wasting. read more close
