Description
The main objective of the project, is to contribute to the fight against HIV in hard-to-reach communities in Mozambique and, as a specific objective, to evaluate the implementation of innovative systems of identification and linkage to care for HIV-infected patients in remote communities in Inhambane Province, through the introduction and analysis of innovative strategies and advanced diagnostic tools to ensure a rapid and validated outcome, enabling immediate patient care. The project aims to achieve the following outcomes, Agenda 95-95-95 on the HIV care continuum: R1. introduction and analysis of innovative strategies to improve the cascade of care for HIV-infected patients; R2. development of innovative methodologies for the epidemiological characterisation of the population living in rural areas.
