Description

Core contribution to the activities that ICRC implements in order to protect and assist vulnerable people involved in armed conflicts and other situations of violence, to promote the respect for international humanitarian law, and to restore family links. It is consistent with SDG 3 (ensuring health and well-being for all and all ages), SDG 6 (ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all) and SDG 16 (promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development). The ICRC also pays constant attention to gender and disability issues. The contribution is to be considered unearmarked in its entirety but 50% will be allocated to support HQ activities and 50% will be allocated by the ICRC to underfunded field operations. read more close
