Description

The annual contribution to UNICEF is particularly relevant in these years, in which UNICEF's activities have multiplied and become even more complex, and will enable the Fund to continue to act to effectively realise the objectives of the strategic plan. It will be possible to target the contribution to UNICEF's activities on the African continent. UNICEF's contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda is cross-cutting in nature. The agency's work is particularly relevant to SDGs 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 16 in order to end abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against children. In addition, the Fund places a strong emphasis on gender mainstreaming within the 2030 Agenda, with reference to girls and young women. read more close
