Description

The initiative aims to contribute to improving the health of the population of the Kurdistan Autonomous Region through the enhancement of the nursing curriculum at the regional level, with particular attention to practical training for displaced students, refugees, and members of the host community enrolled in Nursing degree programs. The project is structured around the following components: On-site technical assistance in the planning and design of educational pathways for the revision of nursing curricula; Short missions by experts from Italy with specific teaching, managerial, clinical, and technical competencies; Provision of teaching and consumable materials needed for on-the-job training activities at a new multipurpose center for practical training of medical and nursing staff, currently under renovation, and in operational units, with particular reference to pediatrics and hematology; Preparation of a training program for the Multipurpose Center; Publication of training materials, guidelines, procedures, manuals, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations. read more close
