Description

The Program aims at providing assistance to refugees, IDPs, returnees and hosting communities in the Extreme Nord of Cameroon and the Lac region of Chad, affected by the humanitarian crisis in the Extreme Nord of Cameroon and the Lac region of Chad, stemming from linked to the Boko Haram terrorist group activities in the zone. The initiative integrates includes also interventions aimed at assisting these vulnerable groups in dealing with adverse climatic events.
In particular, the programme - formulated in coordination with local authorities and other humanitarian actors operating in the field – will focus on the following domains: protection, agriculture and food security, health and WASH. Crosscutting sectors will be Gender, disabilities, climate change and income generation activities.
