Description

The initiative aims to support the stabilization process in Iraq by contributing to UNDP's Funding Facility for Stabilization (FFS), The stabilization focuses on rehabilitating public infrastructure and restoring essential services. The Fund, established in 2015 and subsequently revised in 2016, 2018 and 2020, was structured to support the stabilization effort in areas that have been under ISIS's control for the longest time. These areas have suffered significant damage to infrastructure, private and public housing, public and private property and socio-economic structures and have been affected by strong population movements. read more close
