Description
Voluntary contribution 2025 to WFP - Italy Bilateral Emergency Fund to support humanitarian interventions related to unforseeable emergencies caused by both man-made and natural disasters and to any event in which there is a clear threat to the survival of human life. Which UN agency, the WFP is active not only in the field of food security but also in logistics, including the supply chain of goods and the transport of personnel and materials in emergency situations, also through the management of the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) in Brindisi. During 2025, the Fund has already been activated to support the intervention in Syria with an amount of €1,500,000. The remaining balance is €300,000.
