Voluntary contribution 2025 to FAO - Italy Bilateral Emergency Fund to support humanitarian interventions related to unforseeable emergencies caused by both man-made and natural disasters and to any event in which there is a clear threat to the survival of human life. FAOhas the mandate to promote agricultural development and food security, to document and study agricultural and food-related issues, and to provide technical assistance to the governments of member states. During 2024, the Fund was used to respond to the protracted crisis in Haiti with a contribution of €4,000,000. The positive balance amounts to €287,473.11. read more close
