Description

The Initiative will contribute to the response to the ongoing drought in Ethiopia. In the framework of this programme will be funded multisectorial interventions implemented by selected NGOs in the most affected regions, Oromia, SNNP, South West, Sidama and Somali. The projects will focus on basic services, protection and life-saving interventions for affected populations. Moreover, The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of WaSH services and access to water infrastructure and services for human and animal consumption and use in agriculture as well as supporting the rehabilitation or construction of basic services and infrastructure also for IDP camps.The priority result of the initiative is the improvement of access to basic health services, with particular attention to improving health services in terms of maternal, child, sexual and reproductive health, malnutrition and the main identified causes of morbidity; strengthened emergency health services; response services for SAM and MAM cases supported read more close
