Description

Within this context, the project aims at improving through operational research activities the effectiveness of HIV-adolescent related health services, producing evidence-based knowledge about the different enablers and barriers in accessing services and on the differences among gender. In parallel, it also intends to improve the quality of HIV-related health services offered at the district level by capacity development about prevention and control of HIV among health staff working in three facilities and Community Health Workers active in the respective catchment area of Shinyanga Regional Referral Hospital (SRRH), Bugisi HC and Ngokolo HC. Finally, the project will enhance knowledge on barriers to accessing services and behavioural knowledge to plan for future ad hoc interventions /programme addressing needs and constraints taking into account also the impact of COVID-19. read more close
