Description
The project aims at a) increasing the availability for local communities of diagnosis and treatment services of TB patients and TB/HIV co-infection of quality and integrated with the main non-communicable diseases (diabetes and hypertension); b) improving the production of reliable and up-to-date health data on TB, TB MDR and HIV services. The intervention strategy also envisages the strengthening of the data collection system and the monitoring of services. Finally, the intervention aims to increase the knowledge and consequently the demand for services for the prevention, treatment and follow-up of TB, HIV and non-communicable diseases in the population that accesses the services provided at the two health facilities where the intervention takes place.
