Description
The project aims to promote the development of employment and/or the creation of start-ups in Ukraine by retraining and enhancing the soft and technical skills of vulnerable segments of the Ukrainian population currently unemployed as a result of the prolonged conflict through the creation of a multilevel training academy dedicated to women at risk of marginalisation, such as female veterans, IPDs and ‘Neets’ with a duration of 36 months. The multilevel academy will be developed through the establishment of 2 training poles, in Kyiv and Rivne, becoming a place of reference for: target women for their vocational retraining and for the business world. It will be based on a social business model aimed at self-sustainability by combining workplaces with training centres. The 2 poles will be activated at the newly established Social Bistros in Kyiv and Rivne, based on the social business model already successfully tested by Remar Ukraine in the city of Cernivtsi. The model, further developed, will transform the place of service provision also into a place of training. Within the Bistrot, multimedia classrooms will be set up for theoretical training on transversal, linguistic and IT skills; kitchens, cafeteria, restaurant area and Allegato 2_Modello Documento Unico di Progetto_DUP_Bando Promossi 2023 7 kids area will be set up for the implementation of food&beverage courses. The Academy of Labour will also play a key role in accompanying the target beneficiary’s at the Job Centres with the use of Career guidance, which will facilitate the person's intake, skills assessment and job search (approx. 300/320 women). Job placement will also be promoted through recruitment incentives and internships/traineeships in Ukraine and Italy with companies selected by the Hope Ukraine partner in close dialogue with the Ukrainian-Italian Chamber of Commerce for a total of approx. 180/200 women. Approximately 40 female Vocational training students will be offered a 3rd level of training, promoted by the Women On Boards organisation, with the provision of Management, Business Development and Entrepreneurship modules aimed at acquiring and developing technical skills for the management and creation of micro-businesses for women in Ukraine.
