Description

The initiative, from 2025 programming, will contribute to the implementation of the WPHF's humanitarian response in Burkina Faso. The Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is a global partnership for women’s participation, leadership, and empowerment in humanitarian response and peace and security settings. Guided by a range of civil society, government, and UN actors, WPHF is a multi-partner trust fund mobilizing urgently needed financing for local organizations led by and working alongside women on the front lines to build lasting peace. In Burkina Faso, WPHF supports interventions by local women's rights or women-led organizations in the following areas: humanitarian response, protection of women and girls, peacebuilding and recovery. read more close
