Description

The 3-year project aims to develop new skills and enhance the knowledge of the public and local professionals in the fields of management, conservation, restoration, marketing and management of cultural heritage in Odessa. It proposes to intervene both through university and post-graduate professional training (Outcome 1), as well as through continuing education and vocational training programmes (Outcome 2), with the aim of promoting and deepening culture in the broadest sense in the city. In detail, the project envisages: The creation of undergraduate and postgraduate training programmes (Outcome 1), through the development of the following activities: - Activity 1 - Advanced training course on techniques for the restoration of paintings on canvas and panels - Activity 2 - Advanced Course on metal restoration techniques - Activity 3 - Advanced course on techniques of paper and parchment restoration - Activity 4 - Advanced Course on ceramic restoration techniques To complement these pathways, further training and vocational training programmes will be implemented with a view to lifelong learning (Outcome 2): - Activity 1 - Lifelong learning and vocational training programmes - Activity 2 - Online courses, lasting 10 minutes each, on some of the topics developed within the training programmes - Activity 3 - Seminars/conferences held by important personalities of the Italian culture and addressed to a wide audience of people and professionals in the Ukrainian panorama - Activity 4 - Conferences, forums, exhibitions: Events - conferences, forums, exhibitions - will be organised in the city of Odessa and in Italy. In essence, this project seeks to establish a foundational set of cultural and technical skills in Odessa, fostering professional growth in heritage conservation and expanding Ukrainian-Italian collaboration in this sector. read more close
