Description

Second Phase of the CIHEAM-IAMB project named "PILLAR — Italy-Libya partnership for food security in Cyrenaica". This second phase has 4 main components:(i) prepare the land, infrastructure, structures and machinery to cultivate and manage irrigated areas with local cereal and oilseed crops; (ii) restructure and make accessible infrastructures for use by the local community; (iii) develop innovative skills in the management of advanced cropping systems; (iv) begin the implementation of livestock farming, preparatory to the construction and assembly of sheds for the breeding of 9,000 cattle. read more close
