Description
The project aims to incorporate the latest globally recognized good practices in gender-based violence and prevention, with a focus on improving women's access to justice. The activities will therefore develop along two lines. The first concerns the implementation of policy reforms and the strengthening of existing institutions. The second strand, on the other hand, will focus on women's empowerment, the recognition of the role and rights of women in society and access to justice. Specifically, the project aims to achieve the following results:1.National and County governments have systems that effectively prevent and respond to gender-based violence and promote the rights of women and girls. 2.Women and girls are protected from gender-based violence and have access to and benefit from quality and timely gender-responsive essential services.
