Description

The project aims to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM), in accordance with the common framework and in coordination and harmonization with the national frameworks and standards outlined by clusters and working groups in Niger. Thanks to this intervention, UNICEF will: 1. lead non-food items kits procurement, including WASH and hygiene items and menstrual hygiene management kits, to assist 3.100 households, including host communities and refugees. A part of the NFI assistance can be done through cash transfers modality, instead of in-kind; 2. with its partners, support the Nutrition response through the RRM by facilitating the logistics of the nutritional supply to 33 health facilities in 3 health districts in Diffa region; 3. provide technical leadership, quality assurance and information management to the programme in coordination with all stakeholders. read more close
