Description

The initiative is part of the commitments made by the Italian Government - within the Mattei Plan for Africa, the UN Food Systems Summit and the G7 2024 - to promote and invest in safe and sustainable agri-food systems, through investments and public-private partnerships between the sectors! players of the Italian System and those of the Congo, with the aim to improve the capacity and resilience of the food ecosystem to address the national problems of food insecurity and respond to the challenges posed by climate change, through the development and consolidation of agri-food supply chains, agricultural and civil infrastructure and the capacity of institutions and local communities in the Republic of the Congo. read more close
