UNIDROIT's work through the International Programme for Law and Development has a cross-cutting impact on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and directly contributes to to SDG 4 (Provide quality, equitable and inclusive education and learning opportunities for all) and especially to SDG 16 (Promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, providing access to justice for all). sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive at all levels, in particular with targets 16.6 and 16.8). To this end, it is proposed inter alia to ensure quality training in private international law for the benefit of magistrates, law clerks and lawyers.
