Description

Voluntary contribution to IILA in support to the development of the Italy-Latin America economic and financial security cooperation project. The Program is aimed at enabling learners to acquire specific knowledge on the main criminal phenomena directly related to economic and financial flows and the consequent techniques of analysis, investigation and contrast, with a view to fostering collaboration and exchange of information between institutions and creating favourable opportunities for dialogue with operators in different countries. This is in order to enable the international community to strengthen the capacity to react to modern criminal threats and to increase the sensitivity towards a common investigative culture aimed at confronting, in an incisive manner, illicit conduct increasingly characterized by transnational profiles. In addition, the Program fosters the development of an international network of specialized Corps in order to decrease crime rates and improve living conditions in the beneficiary countries. It is consistent with SDG 16 (Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels). Also with SDG 17, in particular targets 17.6 (Improve North-South, South-South and triangular cooperation in regional and international contexts and access to science, technology and innovation), 17.7 (Promote the development, transfer, dissemination and diffusion of environmentally sound technologies to developing countries); 17.17 (Encourage and promote effective partnerships between public, public-private and civil society actors, building on the experience and resource accumulation strategies of partnerships). read more close
