The Ethiopian Government aims to enhance the health and quality of life of all citizens, promoting sustainable development through the sound management and use of natural, human-made and cultural resources, as much as the environment, to address the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The present Program Support aims at supporting the national budget of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in the environmental and green economic sector, to contribute to the sustainable growth of the Country. Such intervention would ensure less exposure to climate change risks, environmental restoration and a better integrated natural resource management linked to a sustainable and green economic growth path given the Country's multi-year development plans. read more close
