Description

The ‘Deuxième Chance’ Program, promoted and implemented by UNICEF in partnership with three Tunisian line ministries (education, social affairs, and employment), provides individualized support for teenagers aged 12 to 18 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). In the framework of the initiative, UNICEF will implement activities according to 3 strategic axes: 1) the support to the governance and policy framework for the ‘deuxième chance’ , including through strengthened access to and systematization of data and evidence of good practices on a regional scale (MENA area); 2) the consolidation and expansion of the geographical and virtual coverage of the program through the establishment of at least three new centres, and a platform of on-line digital services; and (3) the strengthening of the offer of contents and services in support to the transition to employment of the youth and teenagers in the centres including through ad-hoc synergies and partnerships with other territorial entities. read more close
