Description

The initiative, financed by AICS and jointly implemented by the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA) and the Oficina del Historiador de la Ciudad de La Habana, aims to contribute to the rehabilitation and enhancement of 4 buildings of historical and cultural value, located in the historical center of Havana, ensuring accessibility, diversity of cultural expressions and strengthening social inclusion. In addition, the initiative aims to contribute to the generation of new opportunities for economic development and sustainable management of natural resources, starting from the enhancement of sustainable cultural and environmental tourism and environmentally friendly businesses. Finally, the project includes the implementation of an action plan to promote entrepreneurship, cultural and creative industries, building on a gender equality and social inclusion approach, enabling job generation, innovation and diversification of local economies. read more close
