Description
The action aims at reducing the incidence and the intensity of violence, coercion and deprivation directly and indirectly inflicted by duty bearers and other community members through the adoption of a community-based protection approach. The Community base protection approach - in turn implies a process of defining needs and response strategies that are centered on the community and guided by the communities themselves in the areas covered by the initiative. It will be structured around two areas of intervention for displaced people and returnees: (i) the first will include all those activities aimed at identifying the security risks based on which the community will develop a specific action plan. The second (ii) will instead relate to the support given to the community in terms of opportunities to act, through the transmission of the resources necessary for the implementation of the action plan.
