Description

The Programme contributes to mitigate the socio-economic consequences of the Syrian crisis on the most vulnerable groups in Lebanon, by improving their access to income opportunities and public services. The strategy foresees the creation of rapid employment opportunities for vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian refugees for the construction or rehabilitation of public infrastructure and environmental assets in municipalities affected by the economic and social consequences of the Syrian crisis. The support provided to vulnerable municipalities and the involvement of a high number of unskilled workers foster the social cohesion between Syrian refugees and host communities. The Programme will be implemented in partnership with CSOs selected through a Call for proposals. read more close
