Description

The second phase of Trust Fund has been officially launched on November of the past year during the Third Strategic Board held in Bogotá. On this occasion, the DG Manservisi announced an additional pledged for 20 million Euro that will be granted for the start of second phase of the Trust Fund. It was agreed that strategic priorities established during the first phase (rural development and reincorporation) remain valid.There has been consensus that TF should now move to a new phase in which projects should serve to anchor a structured dialogue with the government on peace implementation, achieve a greater impact and be more aligned and complementary to government programmes.The second phase of TF will likely extend its action till 2023 and will be focused on fostering economic development of conflict affected territories and supporting the government action in the complex process of reincorporation. read more close
