The intervention has been designed by adhering to the following overall goal: To contribute to maximizing impact against malaria in South Sudan. Specific goal of the intervention is Support the MOH and the Malaria CCM in South Sudan in ensuring quality and effective malaria diagnostic services with three result area, namely: National MOH equipped with an operational and validated Malaria Slide Bank, to support Malaria CCM-led Quality Assurance initiatives; Establish a pool of competent malaria microscopists at national level; Improved quality of diagnostic services in malaria hyper-endemic states in coordination with the CCM
