Description

The project aims to improve the living standard of farmers in rural communities by strengthening the entire value chain of tropical fruits, avocados, cocoa and coffee, from a technical, cooperative and management point of view, by strengthening strategies, methodologies and tools of the private and institutional actors involved in the production and marketing of the four value chains considered strategic for the Colombian agricultural sector. The project focuses on improving the production of fruit, cocoa and coffee of Colombian cooperatives and associations through the strengthening of agroforestry systems, which currently represent the best production system in terms of environmental sustainability and through the dissemination of good practices, including good practices in soil and water conservation. read more close
