The aim of this second phase is to strengthen the impact and to expand the geographical scope of the project’s first phase, along its original three outputs: i)Improve cooperation among the member countries of the Mountain Partnership and the Global Island Partnership, through systematic dialogue and knowledge-sharing focused on management issues of fragile ecosystems. ii) Strengthen value chains of selected mountain products.iii) Improve the environmental and social sustainability of the REDD+ mechanism for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation in Papua New Guinea (PNG). read more close
