Description

The General Education Quality Improvement Project (GEQIP) is a comprehensive and integrated project to improve the quality of general education in Ethiopia through a Multi-Donor Joint Fund managed by the World Bank and coordinated by the Ministry of Education (MoE). GEQIP intends to provide textbooks and guides for teachers based on new curricula, improve teacher skills and knowledge, strengthen school-building improvement programs through school grants, and strengthen management, leadership and planning skills at all levels of education.
