The initiative targets women, young people, persons at risk of marginalisation and persons with disabilities in the Centre, Littoral and Ouest regions of Cameroon. The project responds to three crucial challenges: the lack of efficient vocational training and employment guidance services; the shortage of vocational skills adapted to local labour demand; and the slow growth rate of small and medium-sized enterprises -especially in local agri-food, trade, processing, and services sectors. With a targeted and inclusive approach, Emploi aims to support the employability and the economic, social empowerment of the most vulnerable segments of the Cameroonian population. It focuses on promoting inclusive work for people with disabilities and on gender equality. More specifically, the 36-month project operates through 3 axes of intervention: 1- The creation of 3 Job Centres that will provide efficient, accessible, multi sectorial and inclusive employment guidance services, thanks to highly trained professional staff, also with Peer Counseling modalities. A Strategic Plan for the promotion of inclusive work will be drawn up, aimed at identification and assumption of common threads between institutions, enterprises and third sector bodies. Awareness-raising in local communities, will have a significant impact in the removal of cultural and social barriers to labour inclusion of people at risk of marginalisation and with disabilities. 2 - Women, young people, people at risk of marginalisation and people with disabilities will benefit from vocational training aimed at promoting employment development, work stage/on-the-job training, in response to labour demand, thanks also to the network created with local and Italian enterprises operating in Cameroon. This intervention aims to reduce the mismatch between personal skills and demand, also through proven effective methodologies such as the Skills Balance tool. 3- Local small and medium-sized enterprises will be strengthened to improve their access to the market and their ability to generate more job opportunities. This will manifest through specific and customised support actions, promoted by the partners' network to foster sustainable economic growth and decent work for their employees. Innovative and sustainable technical assistance, as well as structural, service and equipment support is envisaged in rural (with agri-food focus), and urban contexts (multisectorial). Emploi aims, in the long term, to contribute directly to the eradication of hunger, poverty and inequality through labour inclusiveness for all. The lead partner EDUCAID coordinates the intervention, which will be implemented with the collaboration of ANOPHAC - National Association of Organisations for Persons with Disabilities in Cameroon, and Organisation for Health Development, Cameroonian CSOs focused on promoting professional education and job inclusion. Other fundamental actors are: RIDS - Italian Disability and Development Network and ALA who will contribute with their expertise on the Peer Counselling methodology and training for the job counters staff; ARCO-PIN (University of Prato) and University of Yaoundé 1 will coordinate the Strategic Plan for and for the development of the inclusive labour market. The Italian CSO VdT, with the University of Dschang, and the University of Pavia will promote the action for the development of small-medium enterprises in the agri-food sector. Il progetto risponde a 3 sfide cruciali: la mancanza di servizi efficienti per la formazione professionale e l’orientamento lavorativo, la carenza di competenze professionali adatte alla domanda di lavoro locale e l’insufficiente competitività delle piccole e medie imprese che operano nei settori agroalimentare, del commercio, della trasformazione, e dei servizi. Con un approccio mirato e inclusivo, Emploi vuole sostenere l’occupabilità e l’empowerment economico e sociale delle fasce più vulnerabili della popolazione camerunense con particolare attenzione alla promozione di un lavoro inclusivo per le persone con disabilità e con un focus sull’uguaglianza di genere. Nello specifico, il progetto, della durata di 36 mesi, agisce tramite 3 assi di intervento, interconnessi: 1- La creazione di 3 Centri per l’Impiego che forniranno servizi efficienti e accessibili di orientamento lavorativo inclusivo e multisettoriale, grazie a personale professionale altamente formato, anche con modalità di Peer Counseling. Sarà elaborato un Patto di co-responsabilità per la promozione del lavoro inclusivo, finalizzato all’identificazione e all’assunzione di linee strategiche comuni tra istituzioni, imprese e enti del terzo settore. La sensibilizzazione delle comunità di riferimento, avrà un impatto significativo nella rimozione di barriere culturali e sociali che limitano l’inclusione lavorativa delle persone a rischio di emarginazione e con disabilità. 2 - Donne, giovani, persone a rischio di emarginazione e persone con disabilità acquisiranno capacità professionali volte a promuovere lo sviluppo occupazionale in tutti i settori lavorativi, tramite formazioni specifiche, tirocini/formazione on the job, in risposta alla domanda di lavoro, grazie anche alla rete creata con le imprese locali e quelle del Sistema Italia presenti in Camerun. L’azione mira a ridurre il mismatch tra competenze personali e domanda, anche attraverso metodologie di comprovata efficacia come quella del Bilancio di Competenze. 3- Le piccole e medie imprese locali saranno rafforzate e miglioreranno il loro accesso al mercato e la loro capacità di generare opportunità lavorative grazie ad azioni di supporto specifiche e personalizzate, favorendo una crescita economica sostenibile e un lavoro dignitoso. Si prevedono interventi di assistenza tecnica innovativa e sostenibile, nonché il supporto tramite fondi di dotazione, sia nei contesti rurali, nel settore agroalimentare, che nei contesti urbani, con un approccio multisettoriale (commercio, turismo, trasformazione, servizi). The project involves expertise from a multidisciplinary partnership network and it aims to achieve 3 main results: 1-The skills of social and health workers are strengthened for better prevention, care and follow-up of vulnerable people (young people, women, IDPs, People with Disabilities...) exposed to the HIV virus The project aims to support skills, capacity and efficiency of the local health system, through the technical support of the Department of Public Health and Infectious Diseases of the Sapienza University of Rome. Italian University experts will support the supply of facilities to improve Dschang District Hospital management, administration and medical services, and will deliver specific training on follow up and adherence to ART for patients, prevention of transmission of HIV virus and STIs (in cooperation with Italian partner ALA). Italian partner NGO EducAid will deliver training sessions on Peer Counseling methodology to involve and target persons with disabilities with medical and prevention actions. 2- The most at-risk population of cities and rural areas of the Menoua Department is informed and made aware of behaviors aimed at preventing the spread of the HIV virus. The local partners, Organization for Health Development of Dschang and the ALLIANCE NATIONALE DES ORGANISATIONS DE PROMOTION DES PERSONNES HANDICAPEES AU CAMEROUN (ANOPHAC) will promote prevention activities for the transmission of the HIV and STI virus, both in rural and urban areas, also through the use of Mobile Units, with the involvement of schools and universities, involving people with disability and targeting young people in vulnerable situations/high risks context (nightlife, social gatherings). 3- The most vulnerable people exposed to the virus access integrated medical services, including hospital and local health facilities, and adhere more effectively to treatments VdT together with the Dschang Hospital and the two local CSOs OHD and ANOPHAC will promote accessibility to socio-health services for the treatment of HIV and related STIs, especially among the most vulnerable groups such as women victims or at risk of abuse and violence, children, People with disabilities, victims of stigma, IDPs, situations of extreme poverty. A Mobile Medical Unit will be activated for the promotion of counseling and psychosocial support activities, referral activities, support and accompaniment paths for diagnosis, treatment, the fight against stigma and the care of the most vulnerable people, with a particular focus on attention to the follow-up of beneficiaries to ensure their continuity and adherence to treatment. Il progetto e’ promosso dall’OSC italiana Vento di Terra, gia’ attiva in Camerun con progetti di prevenzione all’HIV-IST e lo sviluppo di comunita’, oltre che in altri contesti emergenziali nei Paesi in Via di Sviluppo. L’iniziativa prevede il coinvolgimento di una partnership multidisciplinare che presenta expertise specifiche in più settori, dalla prevenzione all’assistenza e ricerca medica, che concorre al raggiungimento di 3 risultati principali: 1- Le competenze degli operatori socio sanitari sono rafforzate per una migliore prevenzione,presa in carico e follow up di persone con vulnerabilità (giovani, donne, rifugiati, persone con disabilità …) esposte al virus HIV Il progetto prevede il rafforzamento socio-sanitario per rendere i servizi più efficaci. Con la supervisione scientifica da parte del Dipartimento di Sanità Pubblica e Malattie Infettive dell’Universita’ Sapienza di Roma, si prevede la fornitura di equipaggiamenti e attrezzature gestionali, amministrative e mediche, verso l’Ospedale Distrettuale di Dschang, e interventi formativi specifici, in particolare sul follow up e aderenza alla ART dei singoli pazienti. La formazione allo staff locale su prevenzione alla trasmissione del virus HIV e IST correlate, sara’ realizzata dal partner italiano ALA. Interventi formativi con la metodologia del Peer Counseling saranno promossi dalla OSC italiana partner EducAid, per l’attivazione di servizi socio-sanitari ad hoc a favore di Persone con Disabilita’ e la promozione del mainstreaming sulla disabilita’ sull’intero intervento. 2-La popolazione più a rischio della città e delle zone rurali del Dipartimento della Menoua è informata e sensibilizzata sui comportamenti atti a prevenire la diffusione del virus HIV. VdT insieme ai partner locali, Organization for Health Development di Dschang e l’ALLIANCE NATIONALE DES ORGANISATIONS DE PROMOTION DES PERSONNES HANDICAPEES AU CAMEROUN (ANOPHAC) promuoveranno attivita’ per la prevenzione della trasmissione del virus HIV e IST, sia nelle aree rurali sia cittadine, tramite anche l’utilizzo di Unita’ Mobili, con il coinvolgimento di scuole e Universita’, e con mainstreaming sulla disabilita’ e sui giovani, in contesti di elevato rischio e alta frequentazione (luoghi di aggregazione e luoghi del divertimento notturno). 3- Le persone più vulnerabili esposte al virus accedono a servizi medici integrati in raccordo tra ospedale e territorio e aderiscono più efficacemente alle cure VdT insieme all’Ospedale di Dschang e alle due OSC locali OHD e ANOPHAC promuoveranno l’accessibilità ai servizi socio sanitari per il trattamento di HIV e IST correlate, soprattutto tra i gruppi maggiormente vulnerabili quali donne vittime o a rischio di abusi e violenze, minori, Persone con Disabilita’, vittime di stigma, profughi, sfollati e rifugiati, situazioni di estrema poverta’. Sara’ attivata un'Unità Mobile medica per la promozione di attivita’ di counseling e supporto psicosociale, attività di referral, percorsi di supporto e accompagnamento alla diagnosi, cura, alla lotta allo stigma e alla presa in carico delle persone più vulnerabili, con un focus particolare sull’attenzione al follow up dei beneficiari per garantire una loro continuità ed aderenza alle cure. Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), through its Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, which collaborates closely with the A. Gemelli University Polyclinic, has expertise in infectious diseases, epidemiology, general and applied hygiene, and public health interventions. The Hôpital Saint Jeanne - Antide Thouret (HSJAT), a district hospital in the Ngaoundal district, serves a population of more than 95,000 people and is assisted in its activities by the Saint Augustine Health Center and the Pietro Pecora Health Center, which ensure a branched presence of the hospital facility in the territory. A Tuberculosis Treatment Center is active at the HSJAT. The Thouret Foundation, which has been active in the Ngaoundal area since 1987, has direct knowledge of the local context thanks to more than 30 years of experience in the area with development projects in the areas of education, social assistance and health care. The partnership with the Initiative aims to Strengthen prevention campaigns, incentivize screening and improve clinical management of Tuberculosis, including extrapulmonary forms of TB, among the population of the Ngaoundal health district in the Adamaoua region, with a focus on children under 15 and women. Promoting a "community based" model of intervention, the project places at the center of its strategy the construction of a catchment network that aims to address all those aspects that can contribute to the fight against tuberculosis: prevention, early diagnosis, care and treatment, and sustainability of interventions. The partnership will work jointly to empower the community through the involvement of its community leaders (village leaders, teachers and school students), identified as the ideal allies to convey correct information with respect to the services offered by health care providers and to increase the readiness of patients to undertake treatment pathways. The beneficiaries of health education and screening interventions, on the other hand, are identified in the population of the health district, with a focus on women and children, ideal subjects to promote a virtuous mechanism within the community and to generate cultural change regarding proper behaviors and dietary and hygienic habits for infection prevention. Increased knowledge among the population of Ngaoundal health district about their health status and preventive measures in relation to TB and increased willingness to undertake treatment pathways. Presso lo HSJAT è attivo un Centro di Trattamento per la Tubercolosi. La Fondazione Thouret, attiva nell’area di Ngaoundal dal 1987, dispone di una conoscenza diretta del contesto locale grazie alla più che trentennale esperienza sul territorio con progetti di sviluppo nei settori dell'educazione, dell'assistenza sociale e dell’assistenza sanitaria. Il partenariato con l’Iniziativa si pone l’obiettivo di Rafforzare le campagne di prevenzione, incentivare lo screening e migliorare la gestione clinica della Tubercolosi, incluse le forme di TB extrapolmonare, tra la popolazione del distretto sanitario di Ngaoundal, nella regione di Adamaoua, con particolare attenzione ai minori di 15 anni e alle donne. Il progetto, promuovendo un modello di intervento “community based”, pone al centro della propria strategia la costruzione di una rete di presa in carico che intende affrontare tutti quegli aspetti che possono concorrere alla lotta contro la tubercolosi: prevenzione, diagnosi precoce, cura e trattamento, sostenibilità degli interventi. Il partenariato lavorerà congiuntamente per responsabilizzare la comunità, attraverso il coinvolgimento dei suoi community leader (capi-villaggio, docenti e studenti delle scuole), identificati come gli alleati ideali per veicolare una corretta informazione rispetto ai servizi offerti dai presidi sanitari e per aumentare la predisposizione dei pazienti ad intraprendere percorsi di cura. I beneficiari degli interventi di educazione sanitaria e screening sono invece individuati nella popolazione del distretto sanitario, con particolare attenzione alle donne e ai bambini, soggetti ideali per promuovere un meccanismo virtuoso all’interno della comunità e per generare un cambiamento culturale in merito ai corretti comportamenti e alle abitudini alimentari e igieniche per la prevenzione del contagio. The project intends, through multi-stakeholder synergies, to strength the network between Italy and Cameroon Municipalities involved and to improve the resilience of local communities to face COVID-19, sharing experiences and good practices among local authorities of the Municipalities. The project aims to achieve the following results: to strength the capacity to manage emergencies and develop integrated actions at local level to the 6 Municipalities and Menoua’s Department; to develop efficient and effective protocols and tools for prevention and intervention in case of emergencies; to develop Guidelines and reagents necessary to perform the epidemiological and serological investigation of patients and the bacteriological investigation of water in laboratories and Municipal Hospitals. The project is part of the interventions already underway in Cameroon since 2010 through the development of local Partnership between the Municipality of Vasanello / Province of Viterbo and the Menoua’s Department in western Cameroon. The local Partnership involves a wide network: Municipality of Vasanello and the Province of Viterbo, Universities, Italian and Cameroonian Civil Society Organization, which has been carried out development cooperation activities for a long time to Menoua’s Department. L’Iniziativa Partenariati comunali per l’emergenza epidemiologica COVID-19 intende rafforzare la capacità di pianificazione e intervento comunale per una più efficace risposta alle emergenze, in particolare a quella sanitaria da COVID-19. La logica generale dell’intervento mira, attraverso sinergie multi-stakeholders, al rafforzamento delle reti tra gli attori territoriali di Italia e Camerun per rafforzare la resilienza delle comunità locali e far fronte all’epidemia COVID-19 attraverso il trasferimento da parte degli enti territoriali italiani di esperienze e buone pratiche. The intervention aims to provide sustainable, innovative and adapted responses to the insufficiency of material and immaterial resources and the inadequacy Allegato 2_Modello Documento Unico di Progetto_DUP_Bando Promossi 2023 8 of incomes to ensure throughout the year a healthy, nutritious and sufficient diet for small producers and their families. In response to identified needs and problems, the intervention strategy, divided into three main results, is based on the four dimensions of food security aiming to: 1) Contribute to agricultural development, improving agricultural productivity and product quality, ensuring greater crops, stability and diversification of production and ensuring the sustainability of food production systems (food availability and stability) 2) Develop productive activities in the agro-industry by creating decent jobs, supporting entrepreneurial activities and increasing the incomes of small producers, thanks to the introduction of new conservation, transformation and marketing processes (access to food) 3) Improve basic nutrition and access to drinking water, by adapting health centres, training health personnel on the management of malnutrition and growth retardation, strengthening knowledge on hygiene, infant and child nutrition, food diversification and enrichment of basic foods (adequate utilization of food). 9,274 people will directly benefit from the initiative (67% women) including small producers, food processors, young entrepreneurs and agricultural innovators, local operators, healthcare personnel, children suffering from malnutrition or childhood anemia and community members. The intervention is presented in a temporary scope association composed by ARCS (leading partner) and CUMSE Foundation (partner). This consortium was created with the aim of capitalizing on skills, tools and working methodologies, enhancing the experience of ARCS in the field of sustainable agriculture, agribusiness, the construction of potable water systems and the expertise of CUMSE in the sectors of health and nutrition. To ensure the quality of the intervention, ARCS and CUMSE have included 4 high-level Italian partners in the partnership: Sapienza University of Rome - Department of Environmental Biology, for its expertise in the transition of African farmers' agricultural systems towards climate change adaptation and mitigation; a for-profit private sector organization, Az. Agr. Eredi Carioni Francesco S.a.s., with the aim of transferring skills regarding the management of innovative and sustainable agricultural entrepreneurship; ISF-MI, an association that brings its economic, management and marketing expertise to producers and supports the structuring of innovative enterprises in the food production and processing sector; an association representing the Diaspora in Italy (including the Cameroonian one), the Associazione Ingegneri Africani (AIA), which will provide qualified skills in the construction of water infrastructures for the improvement of hygienic-sanitary conditions. The local association ADD (operating in the intervention area for over 20 years and promoter of an agro-pastoral training centre) and the local NGO CIPCRE (with an expertise in the field of organic agriculture, structuring of a participatory system of product certification and legal issues relating to access to land) were also involved. L’iniziativa, della durata di 36 mesi, copre cinque comuni del dipartimento di Nyong et So’o, nella regione del Centro del Camerun, dove l’agricoltura rappresenta la principale fonte di reddito della popolazione e i prodotti coltivati costituiscono al contempo la base dell’alimentazione delle famiglie povere e rurali. L’intervento si propone di apportare risposte sostenibili, innovative e adattate all’insufficienza di risorse materiali e immateriali e all’inadeguatezza dei redditi per poter garantire durante tutto l'anno una dieta sana, nutriente e sufficiente per i piccoli produttori e produttrici e le loro famiglie. In risposta ai bisogni rilevati e ai problemi identificati, la strategia d’intervento, articolata in tre risultati principali, si fonda sulle quattro dimensioni della sicurezza alimentare, proponendosi di: Allegato 2_Modello Documento Unico di Progetto_DUP_Bando Promossi 2023 7 1) Contribuire allo sviluppo agricolo, migliorando la produttività agricola e la qualità dei prodotti, assicurando maggiori raccolti, stabilità e diversificazione della produzione e garantendo la sostenibilità dei sistemi di produzione alimentare (disponibilità degli alimenti e stabilità) 2) Sviluppare attività produttive nell’agroindustria, creando posti di lavoro dignitosi, sostenendo attività imprenditoriali e aumentando i redditi di piccoli produttori e produttrici, grazie all’introduzione di nuovi processi di conservazione, trasformazione e commercializzazione (accesso agli alimenti) 3) Migliorare la nutrizione di base e l’accesso all’acqua potabile, adeguando i centri di salute, formando il personale sanitario sulla gestione della malnutrizione e i ritardi di crescita, rafforzando le conoscenze in materia d’igiene, alimentazione del neonato e del bambino, diversificazione alimentare e arricchimento degli alimenti di base (utilizzo adeguato degli alimenti). 9.274 persone beneficeranno direttamente dell’iniziativa (67% F) tra piccoli produttori e produttrici, trasformatrici alimentari, giovani imprenditori e innovatori agricoli, operatori locali, personale sanitario, bambini affetti da malnutrizione o anemia infantile e membri delle comunità. L’intervento è presentato in associazione temporanea di scopo (ATS) costituita da ARCS (mandatario) e Fondazione CUMSE (mandante). Tale consorzio nasce con l’obiettivo di capitalizzare competenze, strumenti e metodologie di lavoro valorizzando l’esperienza di ARCS nell’ambito dell’agricoltura sostenibile, dell’agro business, della realizzazione di impianti idrici e potabilizzazione e l’expertise di CUMSE nei settori della salute e della nutrizione. The project promotes the decent employment, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition of young people between the ages of 15 and 24, particularly young women and young people in vulnerable situations, in the cities of Mbalmayo, Bafoussam and Garoua. The intervention, within 36 months, proposes: 1. solutions for skills mismatch, providing 800 boys and girls excluded from the school system with recognized technical, vocational, IT and entrepreneurial skills which are matched to existing job opportunities by strengthening and diversifying the training offer and the testing of a certification system for formal, informal and non-formal skills; 2. strategies to promote employment, enabling 1,890 young men and women to obtain more employment opportunities, and more accessible ones, thanks to various services to promote orientation, the matching of job supply and demand, assisted employment tools and technical and financial support to start, formalize, optimize or manage a sustainable small enterprise; 3. protection and social promotion, enabling 2,690 boys and girls to make their voices heard and be represented, to access the social protection system and to claim their right to decent work and the opportunity to participate in the economic and social development of the cities where they live. COE (leading partner) is in a Temporary Scope Association with ARCS - Culture Solidali to maximise the impact of the intervention through the capitalization of best practices tested in the Cameroonian context. COE and ARCS interface with COE CAM, a Cameroonian association rooted in the areas of intervention and experienced in initiatives aimed at young and vulnerable people, and with international experts from Ingegneria Senza Frontiere - Milano, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Comune di Milano, who will contribute to the intervention in their respective fields of expertise. Beyond the immediate results for the beneficiaries, the impact is estimated according to the contribution of the intervention to lasting, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full employment, and decent work for all. In addition to increasing the well-being of the boys and girls involved in the project and that of their families, the intervention proposes scalable and replicable processes, systems and services and promotes a more equitable and inclusive society in which all boys and girls, including the most vulnerable ones, are aware that they can aspire to decent work, fulfill their aspirations, and contribute to the sustainable development of their country. Il progetto promuove l'occupazione dignitosa, l'imprenditorialità, l’acquisizione di competenze dei giovani tra i 15 e i 24 anni, in particolare giovani donne e giovani in situazioni di vulnerabilità, nelle città di Mbalmayo, Bafoussam e Garoua.L’intervento, nell’arco di 36 mesi, propone: 1. soluzioni per il disallineamento delle competenze, fornendo a 800 ragazzi e ragazze esclusi dal sistema scolastico competenze tecniche, professionali, informatiche e imprenditoriali riconosciute e adeguate alle opportunità di lavoro esistenti, grazie al rafforzamento e alla diversificazione dell’offerta formativa e alla sperimentazione di un sistema di certificazione delle competenze formali, informali e non formali; 2. strategie per la promozione dell'occupazione, consentendo a 1.890 ragazzi e ragazze di ottenere maggiori opportunità di impiego, più facilmente accessibili, grazie a diversi servizi per favorire l’orientamento e l’incontro tra offerta e domanda di lavoro, a strumenti di inserimento lavorativo assistito e a un accompagnamento tecnico e finanziario per avviare, formalizzare, ottimizzare o gestire una piccola attività imprenditoriale sostenibile; 3. protezione e promozione sociale, permettendo a 2.690 ragazzi e ragazze di far sentire la propria voce ed essere rappresentati, di accedere al sistema di protezione sociale e di rivendicare il proprio diritto al lavoro dignitoso e la possibilità di partecipare allo sviluppo economico e sociale delle città in cui vivono. The project aims to improve and expand the professional training courses of the local partner FBM, also including a career orientation and startup path at the end of the training (thanks to the partner ISF-MI), thereby helping 1,190 young people (15-24) to find a job. The project was outlined and defined together with partners and stakeholders through a bottom-up participatory process. The proposal came from the local partner, and the feasibility study was conducted through a series of meetings and questionnaires submitted to local stakeholders. The general objective of the intervention, “Ensuring full and productive employment and decent work for women, men, and people with disabilities in Cameroon,” relates to SDG 8, particularly targets 8.3 and 8.6.1, referencing indicators 8.5.2. The specific objective of the intervention, “Improving access to the labor market and professional training for young people, women, and people with disabilities in the Far North of Cameroon,” relates to SDGs 8 and 4, particularly indicators 8.3.1 and 4.3.1. The first expected result, “The Bethlehem Foundation improves the quality and coverage of the services offered,” relates to the OECD-DAC sector 113 – 11330 – Vocational Training and SDG 4.4, with selected indicators “Number of beneficiaries receiving certification after successfully completing a professional training program designed/implemented with project support,” and SDG 4.4.1. The second expected result, “The local economy is revitalized thanks to direct support to micro-enterprises and young people in the area,” relates to the OECD-DAC sector 160 – 16020 - Job Creation, with selected indicators: “Number of employers offering internships with project support disaggregated by company size, economic sector” and “Percentage of beneficiaries successfully completing internships supported by the project, disaggregated by gender, age, and disability status.” Particular attention in this project is given to the multidimensional approach suggested by AICS in its strategic documents: "Linee guida sulla parità di genere e sull'empowerment delle donne e delle ragazze (2020-2024)" and "Linee guida per l'integrazione delle persone con disabilità e l'inclusione sociale nei progetti di aiuto 2018 e la programmazione strategica di AICS per il 2024”. Promoting the access to job market and vocational training for women, men and people with disabilities in the North of Camerun, we will contribute to the inclusive economic growth, gender equity and quality education. Therefore, the project pays specific attention to female empowerment, childhood attention, and a specific focus on disability (enhanced by the expertise of partner NHI) as cross-cutting themes for both results. As suggested by the guidelines, a digital transformation, solar panels and capacity-building interventions of the local partner and the center where the intervention will take place is also included to ensure better effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed intervention and the continuity of the intervention even after the project ends Il progetto JOBS 4E: Job Opportunities and Benefits for everybody - Formazione professionale e inserimento lavorativo per donne e giovani con disabilità in Camerun si inserisce in un’area rurale nell’estremo Nord del Camerun dove il 30% dei giovani 15-24 non ha avuto accesso ad un percorso scolastico e solo il 13,4% ha avuto accesso ad una formazione professionale. Il progetto intende migliorare e ampliare la formazione professionale del partner locale FBM, inserendo anche un percorso di orientamento e avvio professionale al termine della formazione (grazie al partner ISF-MI), permettendo così di aiutare 1.190 giovani (15-24) a trovare un lavoro. Il progetto è stato delineato e definito insieme ai partner e agli stakeholder attraverso un processo partecipativo dal basso, la proposta è arrivata dal partner locale e lo studio di fattibilità è stato condotto attraverso una serie di incontri e di questionari sottoposti agli stakeholder locali. L’obiettivo generale dell’intervento “Garantire un’occupazione piena e produttiva e un lavoro dignitoso per donne, uomini e persone con disabilità in Camerun afferisce all’OSS 8, in particolare ai target 8.3 e 8.6.1 e facendo riferimento agli indicatori 8.5.2. L’obiettivo specifico dell’intervento Migliorare l’accesso al mercato del lavoro e alla formazione professionale per i giovani, le donne e le persone con disabilità nell’Estremo Nord del Camerun afferisce agli OSS 8 e 4, in particolare gli indicatori individuati sono 8.3.1 e 4.3.1. Il secondo risultato atteso “L’economia locale è rivitalizzata grazie al supporto diretto alle micro imprese e ai giovani dell’area” afferisce al settore OCSE-DAC: 160 – 16020 - Creazione di posti di lavoro con indicatori scelti “Numero di datori di lavoro che offrono tirocini con il supporto del progetto disaggregati per dimensione dell'azienda, settore economico” e “Percentuale di beneficiari che completano con successo il tirocinio supportato dal progetto, disaggregazione per sesso, età e stato di disabilità” Particolare attenzione in questo progetto viene prestata all’approccio multidimensionale suggerito da AICS, ponendo gli obiettivi in linea con i documenti programmatici di AICS: le "Linee guida sulla parità di genere e sull'empowerment delle donne e delle ragazze (2020-2024)" e le "Linee guida per l'integrazione delle persone con disabilità e l'inclusione sociale nei progetti di aiuto 2018 e la programmazione strategica di AICS per il 2024. Promuovendo l'accesso al mercato del lavoro e alla formazione professionale per donne, uomini e persone con disabilità nel nord del Camerun, si contribuirà alla crescita economica inclusiva, alla parità di genere e all'istruzione di qualità. Infatti si fa particolare riferimento all’empowerment femminile, l’attenzione all’infanzia e un focus specifico sulla disabilità (valorizzate dall’expertise del partner NHI), come tematiche trasversali a entrambi i risultati. Come suggerito dalle linee guida si sono inseriti inoltre un intervento di trasformazione digitale, l’installazione di pannelli solari e delle attività di capacity building del partner locale e del centro in cui si andrà a intervenire, per garantire una migliore efficacia e efficienza dell’intervento proposto e della continuità dell’intervento anche al termine del progetto.
