Nello specifico si vogliono rafforzare i meccanismi di eradicazione della malaria su base comunitaria all’interno della Contea di Kilifi, Kenya entro il 2024 (Obiettivo Specifico). Si vuole raggiungere tale obiettivo tramite una triplice azione: - prevenzione e sensibilizzazione [risultato 1]- formazione e community case management [risultato 2] - rafforzamento degli strumenti di raccolta dati a livello comunitario e di centri sanitari di primo livello [risultato 3] Partendo dalla logica di progetto si vuole generale cambiamento e impatto a livello di attività, risultati e obiettivi che si riflette in cambiamento a livello di comunità, sub-contee, contee e a livello nazionale. L’area target dell’iniziativa è la Contea Kilifi, area endemica costiera del Kenya. Nello specifico si vuole intervenire in 4 subcontee definite “hotspot” dalle autorità sanitarie locali ovvero: - Ganze sub-county - Rabai sub-county - Kilifi North sub-county - Kilifi South sub-county |
