| vocab:Description | Il progetto intende fornire assistenza alimentare a 179,803 persone (27,662 nuclei familiari) per un periodo di 6 mesi, durante il quale le famiglie selezionate, anche tra gli sfollati interni, riceveranno un cesto alimentare nutrizionalmente bilanciato a cadenza mensile. A tal fine, le attività dell'iniziativa si concentreranno su: 1) Aiuto alimentare per rifugiati di primo arrivo:in relazione al Piano regionale di risposta ai rifugiati dell'UNHCR 2022, il PAM ha stabilito una cifra di emergenza interna per assistere fino a 175.000 persone con 102 kg di cibo per oltre sei mesi.2) Assistenza alimentare alle comunità ospitanti/confinanti: si tratta di comunità poste nelle aree di frontiera del KhyberPakhtunkhwa (KP) e del Balochistanche che già ospitano una notevole numero di rifugiati afgani arrivati nel corso degli anni, oltre a popolazioni con gravi problemi alimentari. Parte dell’aiuto verrà destinato a gruppi altamente vulnerabili nelle aree dove si prevede l’afflusso di nuovi rifugiati, per mitigare i fenomeni competitivi per l’accesso a risorse scarse, che possono sfociare nella violenza. Qualora l’afflusso massivo di nuovi rifugiati afgani, come previsto dall'UNHCR, non si verificasse entro il primo trimestre 2022, fino al 70% dell’aiuto alimentare verrà trasferito in Afghanistan. |

These communities are located in border areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and BalochistanProvinces where many Afghan refugees are already living. Part of the food shall be distributed to highly vulnerable groups in the areas where the new Afghan refugees would settle. This is to avoid competition for access to limited resources, which can cause violence. Whether a major inflow of Afghan refugees would not happen within the first quarter 2022, up to 70% of the food aid is going to revert to Afghanistan. |
