L'intervento supporta l’iniziativa del PAM / WFP, permettendo all’Organismo di assistere, attraverso il contributo italiano, 52.700 nuclei familiari - per un totale di 398.600 individui - sia attraverso la distribuzione di alimenti, sia laddove possibile, attraverso cash-based transfers (CBT). Questa iniziativa fa parte di un più ampio contributo al PAM che prevede anche un contributo di 10 milioni di Euro per la distribuzione degli alimenti all’interno del Paese e un ulteriore contributo di 10 milioni di Euro per i rifugiati Afghani e le comunità ospitanti in Pakistan. |
