Il programma Sminamento e disabilità del CICR mira a garantire e migliorare l’accesso ai servizi di riabilitazione fisica per le persone con disabilità, comprese quelle oggetto di referral da altre strutture sanitarie, o da aree remote del paese, contribuendo a rendere più sostenibili i servizi di riabilitazione fisica in tutto il paese, consentendo ai fornitori di servizi, agli istituti di formazione e alle agenzie sanitarie nazionali di espandere le loro capacità, consegnando gradualmente la gestione delle strutture al personale locale. Nella sua totalità il programma beneficerà 142.850 persone: disabili, gli ammalati, la popolazione civile, i feriti, la Società Nazionale e la Mezzaluna Rossa afghana. Il programma intende: Garantire l'accesso ai servizi di riabilitazione fisica: le persone con disabilità – comprese quelle indirizzate da altre strutture sanitarie, o da aree remote; Migliorare le condizioni di vita dei pazienti costretti a casa; CICR contribuirà a far progredire, attraverso lo sport, il reinserimento sociale delle persone con disabilità dando sostegno educativo. |

The ICRC's Demining and Disability Program aims to ensure and improve access to physical rehabilitation services for people with disabilities, including those referred from other health facilities, or from remote areas, helping to make physical rehabilitation services more sustainable across the country, enabling service providers, training institutions and national health agencies to expand their capacities, and gradually handing over the management of facilities to local staff. In its entirety, the program will benefit 142,850 people: the disabled, the sick, the civilian population, the wounded, the National Society and the Afghan Red Crescent. The program intends to: Ensure access to physical rehabilitation services to people with disabilities – including those referred from other health facilities, or from remote areas; Improve the living conditions of home-constrained patients; ICRC will contribute to advancing, through sport, the social reintegration of people with disabilities and will give them sustenance and educational support. |
